Amsterdam

Amsterdam City Guide

Museums:

Look into purchasing this pass:  https://www.iamsterdam.com/en/

It gives you free entrance to most museums in Amsterdam, except the Anne Frank house, as well as: the zoo, the botanical gardens, a canal cruise, a discount at Pancakes Amsterdam, free use of public transportation and so many more things!

These were our favorite museums in Amsterdam, in this order
Anne Frank House -  (Book tickets in advance online)
Van Gogh Museum (Highlight: literally everything!)
Rijksmuseum (highlight: “The Night Watch” by Rembrandt) Also, the “I amsterdam" sign is right in front of this museum.
Stedelijk Museum (highlight: De Stijl movement artwork)
Museum Van Loon – It is an old canal house turned museum, it’s beautiful!
Foam Museum – (a really cool photograph museum)
Rembrandt House Museum – (As someone with a minor in Art History, I was a little bummed about this museum, but since it comes with the iAmsterdam pass, I would still suggest going as you can go at your own pace within the museum)

Other things to do, that we enjoyed, with our Amsterdam passes:
Canal Cruise
The Zoo
The Botanical Gardens
A’DAM lookout
