Paris

I often get asked by friends, family, co-workers and internet friends recommendations on what to eat, see, and do in different cities around the globe. Although I’ve only been to Paris once, on our honeymoon, which you can read about here, it became my favorite city in the world.

My list is a mix of places I’ve been to, and places I’ve found through other travel bloggers and of course, Instagram.

I like to break things down into specific categories, because my favorite part of travel is the FOOD (duh). However, you will also find museums and other things to do on this list.

Look into this: https://www.parispass.com

(something to note about the museums: you must arrive at least 45 minutes (or earlier) before they close, or you cannot go in. Also, I would recommend visiting each museum's website and see what days/times they are open. Some are closed on random weekdays.)

The Louvre
L’Orangerie
Musee D’Orsay
Rodin Museum
Versailles (make sure to go out to the palace grounds and rent a bike. you can bike to Marie Antoinette’s cottage)

Notre Dame
Picasso Museum
Le Centre Pompidou
Palais Royal

Must visit parks:
Le Jardin du Luxembourg
Jardin des Tuileries (right by the Louvre and L’Orangerie)
Place des vosges
Parc Monceau
Square Louise Michel

Random things:
Tour Montparnasse (gives you the BEST 360 degree view in Paris)
Walk along Le Seine
Walk around Ile Saint-Louis
Walk around Montmartre and visit Montmartre Cemetery (this cemetery has many famous figures buried here)
Eiffel Tower (duh)
